it can be useful to find the total length of multiple lines in a veiw.

To find the added total length of a selection of lines.

1. On the mōtus toolbar, select Line Lengths from the Sum drop-down button.
2. Select lines to add the lengths of.
3. Click the Finish button from the options bar to add the selected line lengths.
4. A text dialogue will appear showing the total length of the selected lines.
